đ August is synonymous with holidays, but itâs also the moment when many families start thinking (sometimes with a bit of stress) about September.
At Acadèmia A+ de Reus, we know that a good start to the school year begins now: with calm, organization, and confidence.
Here are some ideas to make the most of these last weeks of summer:
đ 1. Keep a bit of routine. Rest is important, but not abandoning schedules completely can help a lot: waking up at roughly the same time, setting aside a moment to read, or doing a quiet activity each day.
đ§ 2. Activate the brain with small things. Board games, reading, sudokus, TV series in English, writing a diary⌠it all counts! Thereâs no need to study as if it were school: just keep curiosity alive.
đ 3. Review materials and plan for the year. Take a look at the books, prepare the pencil case, tidy up the study space⌠All of this can motivate students and give them a sense of control and readiness.
đ§ 4. Talk about the new school year positively. Letâs avoid phrases like âthe good times are overâ or âback to suffering.â The message should be: âYou have a new opportunity to learn and grow.â And if support is needed, we are here to help.
đ¤ 5. Have a diagnostic session before starting. Many students need to know where they stand and where theyâre headed. At the academy, we offer sessions to assess their level and prepare a personalized study planâwhether in academic support or English.
đŹ If you want this school year to start off on the right foot, weâll help you plan it together. Contact us before September and reserve a spot in our support or English groups.
